SAN FRANCISCO \u2013 Clearway Energy Group (\u201cClearway\u201d), through its ownership interest in Repowering Partnership II LLC, has completed its second wind repowering project. Wildorado, a 161 MW wind farm located in Oldham County, Texas, originally constructed in 2007, began post-repowering operations in January. Construction for the repowering was led by Mortenson and turbine equipment was provided by Siemens Gamesa.<\/p>\n

Repowering extended the life of Wildorado and lowered operations and maintenance costs through enhancements with modern turbine equipment. Repowering Wildorado created nearly 100 jobs during construction and generated hundreds of thousands of dollars in local spending.<\/p>\n
